The recall by Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods comes from the back of another recall from Bedner Growers, Inc.
It attracted all cucumbers on the fresh market of the bedner between April 29 and May 14, 2025, because they were potentially infected with Salmonella.
The recalled cucumbers were sold to consumers at the Farm Fresh Markets locations of three beds in Florida (Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and West Palm Beach).
They were also sold to wholesalers, restaurants, retailers and distribution centers.
Officials found Salmonella bacteria from samples on the farm that corresponds to monsters of people who fell ill.
The FDA said because the recalled cucumbers do not have specific stickers or labeling, customers have to throw away and do not use cucumbers that have been purchased from these locations between the dates affected.
De besmette komkommers zijn door de FDA gekoppeld aan een Salmonella -uitbraak die 26 mensen heeft ziek in Alabama, Californië, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kenticky, Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee en Virginia.
Nine of the patients were admitted to the hospital and 11 of the 13 patients who were interviewed, reported the food of cucumbers.
The CDC said that several people who fell ill, the cucumbers at cruise ships ate those ports in Florida, although officials investigate where potentially polluted cucumbers were distributed.
The FDA warned: ‘Cucumbers may be sold individually or in smaller packages, with or without a label that may not bear the same brand, product name or best on date.
‘For distributors, restaurants and retailers who bought these cucumbers, the products were labeled as’ super ‘,’ ‘selects’ or ‘plains’. ” ‘
The outbreak was detected as part of a follow -up inspection in April to an outbreak of 2024 that made 551 people sick and led to 155 hospital admissions in 34 states and Washington, DC
In that outbreak, researchers found that Salmonella bacteria were linked to many of the diseases in untreated channel water that is used on farms managed by beggars and Thomas Produce Company.
Salmonella is caused by eating foods contaminated with animal droppings.
It usually causes diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps that start six hours to six days after the first infection, according to the CDC.
Most people recover within a few days, although the disease is responsible for more than 26,000 hospital admissions and 400 deaths per year.
