Love Island star Zara McDermott, 28, turned its heads this week thanks to her very public display of affection with newly confirmed friend Louis Tomlinson in sun-drenched Costa Rica.
The beloved images come fourteen days after the few Instagram had officially gone, five months after the beauty of Love Island with her boyfriend for radio presenter, Sam Thompson,.
In the new images, taken in the restaurant in the Oceanfronted Banana Beach, Mrs. McDermott can be seen and there are fit and weakened in a strappy top.
However, what some fans may not be aware of, is the painful body struggle with which the presenter has to do for at least two years.
It was only 18 months since Mrs. McDermott shared images of himself admitted to the hospital after a procedure to repair damage to her bones caused by the debilitating state osteoporosis.
In December 2023 she shared Instagram posts that reveal that despite the operation doctors warned that they would probably need further procedures with metal screws and plate to melt bone bones together again, after a tibia fracture.
Osteoporosis, who affects 3.5 million people in the UK, makes bones vulnerable and more likely to break.
The condition is slowly developing over several years and is often only diagnosed when a fall or sudden impact breaks a bone.
Almost two -thirds of the patients are women.
Although the condition can be caused by the wear of aging, it is also activated by a poor diet, including a lack of calcium with bone increases.
If untreated, Osteoporosis may prove to be fatal, because bone fracture and fractures lead to patients encountering multiple hospital enclosures and are exposed to potentially dangerous infections.
The Royal Osteoporosis Society estimates that 2,500 dies every year hip fractures.
Mrs. McDermott revealed her diagnosis in November 2023, fans say that she had the ‘early signs’ of the disease.
“I recently discovered that I have early signs of developing osteoporosis (my mother and nan both have it!) So I started to make switches to get more calcium in my diet,” she said in an Instagram clip.
Zara and Louis, 33, were seen who shared a passionate kiss in the midst of their romantic outing in sun -drenched Costa Rica on Sunday

The Love Island star was previously told by doctors that it was likely that she would need further operation to help the healing process, but revealed that there is now proof of healing (depicted in the hospital in December)

Hoping to restore the most natural way, the star wants to avoid surgery and instead will choose crutches and a boot to get the pressure from her foot instead
In the most recent update about her condition, posted on Instagram last year, Mrs. McDermott said that her shin fracture heals.
‘The good news is that there is some small proof of healing! Yay! “She shared.
‘However, the bone around the fracture is under a lot of tension/pressure … whatever that means.
“Surgery is still an option, but I chose the most natural route that is to try to help heal it in itself,” she added.
Mrs. McDermott was mounted in the coming months for a boot and used crutches to give her body time to cure.
She said, “I had to pull out of a few work matters in the coming weeks, because I know that I have to prioritize my belly litigation, but I hope this is now the start of the end.”
Treatment for osteoporosis is usually based on the treatment and prevention of fractions, as well as the use of medication to strengthen weak bones.
Although the operation is sometimes necessary, the NHS gives a number of steps on a steps that osteoporosis patients can take to keep their bones healthy.

In March 2024, Zara asked her fans for help when she revealed that the stress fracture was not healing and it was advised that she might need further operation

This includes regular exercise to keep bones as strong as possible, to eat a healthy diet that is rich in calcium and vitamin D, and making lifestyle changes such as cutting back on alcohol and quitting smoking.
The NHS also recommends taking a daily supplement with 10 mg of vitamin D.
The star has previously spoken on Instagram about the benefits of weight training, which it has been doing for more than three years now, claiming that it can “help with the health of the bone and the risk of bone disorders such as osteoporosis can reduce.”
Recent figures show that without government action, to introduce more fracture clinics, people with osteoporosis will undergo 74,000 fractures by 2030, including 31,000 life -threatening hip fractures.
