Artemisia, Caravaggio, Hopper in the weekly schedule of Sky Arte
On July 8, 1853, the firstborn of six brothers, Artemisia Lomi Gentilesschi was born in Rome, the teacher of Baroque painting, today icon of feminism, whose life oscillated between existential drama and sublime creation.

The canvas dates from 1610, the year of the painter’s death. The insertion of this extraordinary work in the route of the exhibition of the exhibition set up in Rome on the occasion of the Holy Year offers a non -published look at the last months of Caravaggio’s life.
