Former Indian cricket player Suresh Raina is ready to make his acting debut in a Tamil film under the production of Dream Knight Stories (DKS). DKS shared a video to their Instagram handle and announced the arrival of Suresh Raina, lovingly known as ‘Chinna Thala’ by the Chennai Super Kings fans.
The video contained Raina who came in a cricket stadium with fans who cheered in large numbers. According to the announcement video, the film is expected to be based on cricket. It is directed by Logan and is produced by D Saravana Kumar under the banner of DKS. While sharing the video, the makers wrote: “Chinna Thala @Sureshrina3 welcomed on board for #dksproductieno1!”
The makers have not yet revealed the details of the film. The Indian cricket player Shivam Dube, who plays the role of a pinch hitter for the Chennai Super Kings, officially revealed the name of the production house and the logo.
Raina is one of the most beloved figures in Chennai, because of his impeccable version in the Chennai Super Kings franchise. Raina is considered one of the best batters of the middle order produced by India and was the first Indian player to have had a century in all formats of the game.
In 322 international competitions, Rainina scored 7,988 points on an average of 32.87 and a success rate of more than 92. He scored seven centuries and 48 1950s in 291 innings, with the best score of 120. The left -handed Slagman won the ICC Cricket World Cup in Blue 2011.
His beats of 34* against Australia in the quarterfinals of 2011 and 36* against Pakistan in the semi -final are two of the most memorable clutches due to a middle batter on a large stage.
Raina also represented CSK and Gujarat Lions (2016-2017) in the Indian Premier League. He is the fifth highest Run scorer of all time in competition history with 5,528 runs in 205 races at an average of 32.51 and a success rate of more than 136.73. He scored a century and 39 fifty in his IPL career, with the best score of 100*. For his consistency throughout the seasons, he is also known as the ‘MR IPL’. He has won four IPL titles with Chennai Super Kings.
