A small plane crashed in a neighborhood in San Diego, California due to foggy weather, and sets around 15 houses on fire and vehicles, the authorities say.
Authorities said that the incident took place on Thursday, local time, in the past, forcing evacuations along different blocks.
“We have aircraft fuel everywhere,” said assistant fire brigade chef Dan Eddy during a press conference.
“Our main goal is to search all these houses and to get everyone out now”.
He said “a direct hit for several houses” in the Murphy Canyon district and described “a gigantic rubble field”.
It was not known whether there were injuries.

Mr. Eddy said it was very foggy when the private plane crashed.
“You could hardly see for you,” he said.
Eyewitness describes ‘horrible’ scene
The Cessna 550 plane poured at about 3:45 am near the Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, said the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
“The number of people on board is currently unknown,” De FAA said in a statement.
The plane can wear six to eight people.
De FAA said that the National Transportation Safety Board would lead the investigation.

Christopher Moore, who lives one street of the crash place, said he and his wife were awakened by a loud bang and saw smoke when they looked out the window.
They grabbed their two young children and ran out of the house. On their way away, they saw a car flooded in flames.
“It was certainly horrible, but sometimes you just have to drop your head and go to safety,” he said.
