The FBI has released a new sketch of a second person of interest in the unsolved 2016 murder of college baseball star Calvin Riley.
Riley, 20 Was shot in San Francisco in the night of 6 August 2016, while playing the video game, Pokemon Go, with a friend.
His loved ones said he had been beaten from behind. His friend heard the shot and saw the 20-year-old falling to the floor.
Riley was a rising star For the San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs, who dreamed of playing for the Red Sox. But his murder has remained a mystery in the last nine years.
Earlier this week, however, federal researchers unveiled the new composite drawing in the hope that the responsible person can finally be found. It shows a bearded man with glasses.
Riley’s father, Sean Riley, paid tribute to the authorities and told KTVU That he hopes that this represents a turning point in the investigation.

The family also posted a statement on social media, per Fox News, with the text: ‘There is not a day, hour, minute or second that we don’t think of you and the great memories with which you left us.
‘Calvin, we promise you that we will find this person and bring them to the dish. Cal we love you and miss you so much. Until we meet again !!! ‘
Both the murderers and the motive have remained a mystery. The FBI offers up to $ 25,000 as a reward for information that helps to lower the controller.
Not long after the shooting, the police released a sketch of one person they thought they can be connected to the case. The man reportedly drove a car – with a blonde woman between 20 and 30 years old – who was parked nearby.
According to KTVU, a family friend said rather that Riley and his friend had noticed that someone was looking above them from the top of the hill.
Another person was seen on recording the crime scene and the new sketch shows a bald man with a beard and glasses. The police also identified a few suspicious cars – a 2015 White Hyundai Sonata and a dark Audi A3 – who arrived together and left together after the murder.
