Written insightsA company that develops pharmacy navigation solutions for self -assured employers, health plans and members is a strategic partnership with RXSavecard, which offers costs for the benefit of the pharmacy and payment options.
The partnership is intended to help self -assured employers to fulfill their fiduciary obligations and to reduce the costs for prescription medicines by providing members access to affordable medicines, either under their health plan or through alternatives to cash.
In a statement, Scripta explained that the RXSavecard will integrate into its RX -Navigation Platform, the company says that customers will benefit customers who have the fully adapted solution.
For members it is intended to help them save on drugs with many costs, including GLP-1’s.
For self -assured employers, the aim is to reduce the plan expenditure by taking up traditional marketups (PBM).
In addition, Scripta will send members to the most cost -effective medicine options that are available.
This can mean a covered medicine through their health plan, to convert to a cheaper alternative or the use of a cash loon source such as RXSavecard.
Scripta stated that the RXSavecard also allows planning the plan to offer members of low or free medicines to members without switching to a new PPE.
In addition, employers finance a prepaid digital card every month, which covers all or part of the intended medicine costs.
Members can use the card at more than 65,000 pharmacies, including Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs and Lilly Direct, with the amount funded by the employer automatically applied to checkout.
According to Scripta, members will have the opportunity to search for RXSavecard prices and pharmacy alternatives and gain their cards directly access to the member of the Scripta. Scripta also offers customers detailed reporting on their savings.
“RXSavecard shares our dedication in innovating the traditional pharmacy benefit model and to market their prescribed choices,” said Eric Levin, CEO of Scripta Insights, in a statement.
“By integrating the national discount network of RXSavecard into our Scripta -saving Mapper, we make it even easier for members to compare all their options, including new alternatives to cash, and save money on their recipes.”
