The search for the fifty million Naira prize money in the largest Grassroots football spectacle of Nigeria, the football tournament of Bayelsa Governor has baptized the Prosperity Cup, is hurt as the tournament gradually takes shape.
A total of 231 teams registered for season seven of the spectacle with more than 24 centers that organize the provisional round of competitions in the competition.
Yenagoa Local Government Area produced the highest number of teams and centers in the tournament with 93 teams in the LGA Jostling for glory in the competition.
Under the seven centers in Yenagoa LGA Bishop Dimiari Grammar School, BDGS Center 16 teams had the highest number of teams in a center. Kpansia, Biogbolo, Opolo, Tombia and Swali Centers each housed 13 teams, while Ogboloma Center undered 12 teams.
Brass Local Government Area, the LGA that EWO-Am FC produced, the first champions of the tournament, registered 19 teams that played in two centers, Sangana and Twon Brass Center. Twon Brass Center had 13 teams while Sangana Center had six teams.
Nembe Local Government with only one center had seven registered teams such as Duo van Nembe City FC and Okoroba FC qualified for the local government final and the round of 32 of the showpiece.

In the local government of Ekeremor, a total of 20 teams that are registered for the tournament in three different centers, namely Ekeremor, Egbema-Angalabiri and Agge Center that produced the highest number 12 teams.
The local government of Sagbama prior to the money-spinning phase had 16 teams in three different centers, Sagbama, Ebebiri and Ogobiri Center with Agbere FC from Agbere and indomitable lions FC from Sagbama who qualified for the LGA Finals.
Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA had a total of 12 teams and two centers, namely Opokuma and ODI centers, with six teams in each of the centers.
Southern IJAW Local Government Area registered 27 teams, with seven teams that played in the Oporoma Center, four teams in Olugbobiri Center and 16 teams in the Amassoma Center. Professor Nimibofa Ayawei PNA FC are Southern IJaw LGA champions.
A total of 37 teams registered in OGBIA Local Government Area, the LGA with the second highest number of teams after Yenagoa LGA. Ogbia has four centers, namely, Otusega, Imiringi, Otabagi and Otukotpoti centers.
A total of 224 games, spread over 24 centers, were played in the preliminary rounds of the tournament. In the same spirit, a total of 537 goals were scored in the provisional rounds, on average 2.4 goals per match, while PNA FC scored 20 goals and was only admitted in eight games.
The round of 32 games produced a total of 46 goals in 16 games on average 2.9 goals per game.
