Pahalgam Terror Attack: J&K WAQF Board offers Job to kill the brother of the pony operator

The Bharatiya Janata party guided Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board on Thursday (1 May 2025) handed a letter of appointment to the brother of Syed Adil Hussain Shah of Anantnag’s Haptnar. Shah was killed during Pahalgam’s terror attack when he tried to save the life of tourists.

“The letter of appointment is a gesture in honor of Adil’s highest sacrifice. He gave his life to protect others. This job letter is a small tribute to his courage. His sacrifice will never be forgotten,” said J&K WAQF board chairman Darakhhan Andrabi.

She also praised the locals of J&K who stood in solidarity of the Pahalgam terror attack victims. “People of J&K created history by standing in solidarity with the victims,” ​​said Mrs. Andrabi.

Syed Nazakat Ahmad, brother of the victim, said he was proud that his brother put his life down to save others. “I thank the board for the gesture. The job will keep our livelihood. The only thing I want is that Adil’s action should be an inspiration for others,” said Mr. Ahmad.

Earlier, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the victim’s family and had promised a job at the relatives of the deceased, who was killed among the 26 civilians on April 22 by terrorists in Pahalgam’s Baisaran.
