The top seed defeated Morakinyo Ridwan Adewale of Oyo State in two straight sets, 4-0, 4-0 in less than 30 minutes.
Ekpeyong will be confronted with Rubi Toba from Taraba State in the next round.
Toba defeated Benjamin Jeremiah of Kaduna 5-3, 4-0 earlier in the day.
Danjuma Lucky or Federal Capital Territory, FCT, also defeated Henry Nwosu from IMO State 4-0, 4-0.

He will fight with Henry Aina van Ondo, who defeated Ekiti’s Abamu Mathew to seal a place in the next round.
Abua Candice of Team Rivers will meet Mohammed Amir of independent junior athletes, IJA, in the next round after overcoming Abdul Mohammed of Nasarawa State 4-2, 4-2.
Amir has the bedding from Depth Ewom, 4-2, 4-1.
Olabode Lawal from Team Lagos walked past Ehigiamusoe endurance of Edo State 5-4 (5), 4-2 to set up a collision with FCT Abubakar Yusuf.
In the Ladies category, Barakat Quadri van Delta State delivered a flawless performance, which Iornumun Mary of Benue with 4-0, 4-0 to book a second round showdown with Rebecca Ekpeyong (Bayelsa) from Team Bayelsa.
