Minister -President Nitish Kumar announced a major increase on Saturday in the pension scheme of the state of Social Security. According to the revised scheme, seniors and persons with disabilities now receive RS 1100 per month, at the earlier amount of RS 400.
Nitish Kumar announced the decision on X and stated that the increased pension amount will be paid from July. This decision is expected to bring relief to more than 1 crore 9 lakh 69 thousand 255 beneficiaries in the entire state.
“I am happy to be able to inquire that under the social security pension Scheme, widower women, older and disabled people, people now get a pension from RS. 1100 instead of RS. 400 every month. All beneficiaries receive a pension at the increased rate of July. Nitish Kumar said in a post on X.
The government has also specified that the revised pension on the 10th of each month will be credited on the bank accounts of beneficiaries. The schedule includes older citizens, people with disabilities, widows and other eligible individuals under the umbrella of the social well -being of Bihar.
