The Houston Rockets acquire 15-Keer All-Star and four-time Olympic gold medal winner Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster who struck on Sunday, a person told the Associated Press knowledge of the agreement.
The rockets give Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and six future picks – including number 10 selection in the opening round of this year of this year – according to the person who spoke with the AP on condition of anonymity because the deal was still awaiting NBA property inspection.

It ends weeks of speculation about where durant would end. Many teams were involved at different times, including Miami and Minnesota, but in the end Phoenix accepted the range of rockets.
ESPN reported the trade for the first time.
Fans heard of the news while Durant was on stage in New York at Fanatics Fest NYC, and when they started to respond, durant started to smile broadly.
“We’re going to see it, man,” said Durant of the stage. “We’re going to see it.”
Boardroom, the ever-increasing media company Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, co-founder in 2019, collaborated with fanatics on a number of projects. The panel that Durant would appear there on Sunday was called ‘Global Game Changers’.

He is certainly planning to change the game for the rockets.
Houston finished No. 2 in the Western Conference in the regular season, albeit 16 games behind number 1 Oklahoma City. It now adds a double champion to his young core, because it seems to make another leap next season.
Durant had an average of 26.6 points this season, his 17th in the NBA – not missed for a year due to injury. Before his career, the 6-foot-11 attacker is an average of 27.2 points and seven rebounds per match.
The move brings Durant back to the State of Texas, where he played his college basketball for the Longhorns and the university player of the year for a year before he went as the number 2 in the 2007 design by Seattle.
Houston becomes his fifth franchise and joins the Supersonics (which then became the Oklahoma City Thunder), Golden State, Brooklyn and Phoenix. Durant won his two titles with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018, and last summer in Paris he became the best-scoring player in the American Olympic basketball history and the first men’s player to be part of four gold medal teams.

Durant is a four-time score champion, a dual final MVP and one of the eight players in the NBA history with more than 30,000 career points, which will come to the club on 11 February.
Durant will be a contract for around $ 50 million next season before he will become a free agent in 2026.
His departure from the sun was expected and ends a disappointing 2 1/2 years in the desert. Durant never enjoyed consistent team success, even though it was part of a trio that included Star Guards Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
Durant was taken over by the Suns of the Brooklyn Nets in a trading deal with four teams in 2023, only a few days after the new owner Mat Ishbia bought the team for around $ 4 billion. Phoenix gave up a lot to acquire the then-34-year-old and sent young striking Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, together with four future first round picks, to Brooklyn.
