A woman, together with her new boyfriend, would have performed and performed the murder of her ex-lover in the Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh, said officials. The incident took place in the Ausanganj area in the night of Holi (March 14) and both accused were arrested days later.

After about 50 minutes, Rajkumar was seen on his bike behind a pace. He later fled from the place.
Sources told India Today TV That Diljit was recently engaged, but was unable to break ties with his former girlfriend. To end this entanglement, the ex-girlfriend is said to seek help from her new friend, identified as Rajkumar, a resident of the Chandauli district.
It was Diljit himself in particular who had once accused Rajkumar to his former girlfriend, and the three shared a close knowledge. Their friendship eventually turned into a rivalry, in which Rajkumar’s involvement led to Diljit’s disintegration. Diljit, however, continued to pursue his ex, not willing to continue.
Determined to remove him from the photo, the woman and Rajkumar reportedly started planning the murder a month in advance. According to the police, Rajkumar even showed the firearm to the woman during a video call before carrying out the murder.
Authorities are now looking for the weapon used in crime.
