A number of artists have been added to the Meltdown festival of Little Simz and who have set the stage for an epic music event that takes place this summer in London locations.
The Southbank Center confirmed this week that Grammy nominated R&B icon Mahalia will enter the stage in the Royal Albert Hall and welcomes the start of the 30-year anniversary of the coveted art event.
Between June 12 and June 22, London will be brought to life with the sounds of a number of leading artists such as the world’s longest-running artist-curved music festival in acceleration.
Influential Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage, Badbadnotgood, James Blake and saxophonist Nubbya Garcia have also been announced among the latest musicians perform.
Mega, aka megaishhernname and rising star Jon Poppii will also descend on the Queen Elizabeth Hall, while Kara Jackson will show off her alt-country talents from the Purcell Room.

About the coming festival, Little Simz spoke this year’s cohort of artists as ‘incredible’, and added that she looked forward to seeing everyone there.
“My team and I have prepared art, music, workshops and more for eleven days,” she said.
“So many incredible artists have put together this festival, so it is a true honor to be part of it. Thanks to the Southbank Center for having me. Meltdown 2025 The SIMZ way is becoming epic. I will see you there.”
The London Meltdown Festival will take place for two weeks in June, will contain a mix of music, art, workshops and more in the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and other parts of the Southbank Center.
The organizers of Meltdown Festival are also expected to release the details of a free cultural program that will take place during the festival when we approach the event.
The latest line -up comes a little less than two weeks after the first musicians were revealed for this year’s festival, including Jon Batiste, Sasha Kable and Yukimi from Little Dragon.

Organized by Little Simz, the star born in Islington plays a key role in selecting other artists and making themes for this year’s festival. She will also perform at Meltdown on June 22 in the Royal Festival Hall.
Every year Meltdown invites a fantastic cohort of artists to put together the music event. Previous episodes have seen stars such as Christine and the Queens, Mia, David Bowie, Nile Rodgers and Grace Jones who coordinate the music event. Take the lead.
