Los Angeles Taxpayers to pay millions for ‘peaceful’ anti-seasoning protests

The violent and destructive anti-ed protests of Los Angeles cost taxpayers $ 32 million, according to a report from the city budget leader.

Controller Kenneth Mejia placed the figures on X, with details about what the money from local taxpayers will finance. City taxpayers are on the hook for emergency services, cleaning up and damage to public property, all of the protests that were changed in riots, according to Mejia’s post.

More than $ 29 million, or 92% of the costs, is for the reaction of the Los Angeles police. Some of these funds also cover the costs of the city -wide tactical reports.

Just over $ 1 million goes to the city’s efforts to clean up the city and to repair damage to public property, according to Mejia’s post.

The rest of the money will be distributed among different departments, such as the Los Angeles fire brigade, the street services of the city, general services, tourism and others.

Mejia noted that the financing did not take into account potential lawsuits that could result from the unrest.

The protests, described as “peaceful” by Senator Cory Booker, DN.J. And the liberal media, protesters saw violently collide with the LAPD for several days, as a result of which President Donald Trump uses both the national guard and the active military employees.

The protests have led to various arrests, including Grzegorz Vandenberg, 48. He was accused of buying fireworks with the intention of harming law enforcement and government officials during the protests, according to the Ministry of Justice.

While in a store, the federal authorities claimed, he told employees that he was previously serving in the special forces of the army and claimed that he could make pipe bombs before he revealed that he was planning to travel to Los Angeles to kill law enforcement officers and government officials in the anti-Ice riots.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna announced that almost a dozen representatives were injured during the current riots after demonstrators launched Rots, Molotov cocktails and “High-quality pyrotechnics”.

Since 7 June, according to the LAPD, the LAPD has made more than 500 arrests with regard to protests.

The Mejia office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
