It is a sad moment in the football world while Liverpool star Diogo Jota dies on Thursday in a car accident in Spain.
Jota would travel with his younger brother, André, a 26-year-old football player, when their car was involved in a fatal accident on the A-52 highway in Zamora, in the Castilla y León region in Spain.
Emergency services confirmed the crash. A statement from the authorities was: “The 1-1-2 Castilla y León Operations Room received several calls in which a vehicle accident was reported to km. 65 of the A-52, in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora. A car was reportedly involved in an accident and the vehicle was on fire.”
The Guardia Civil has told BBC Sport That Jota and his brother died at around 00:30 local time on Thursday.

They said that their car, a Lamborghini, left the road because of a tire bladder while he took another vehicle and then caught fire.
Jota married his long -term partner Rute Cardoso, with whom he had three children, just last month.
He recently posted photos on social media, externally of the ceremony, which took place on June 22.
Jota helped Liverpool to win the Premier League title last season and also played for Portugal while defeating Spain in the final of the Nations League in June.
