On Friday, June 27, DNA organized an event in honor and celebrate the women who are in different areas to the top. The DNA Women Achievers Awards 2025, to celebrate the ‘New Gen Women’, had none other than Ranjubala Singh Aka ‘Kashi Ki Didi’ present. During the event, Ranjubala Singh won the Warrior Spirit Award for changing its grief into a mission to serve society.

Who inspired Ranjubala Singh to enter into social work?
Govind Singh, her husband, a retired BSF officer, was the one who inspired Ranjubala Singh to pursue social work. After he had risked his life in the service of the nation, Govind Ranjubala encouraged to start an NGO. She then founded the Leela Foundation in Varanasi, who now trains children who did not even have the opportunity to enter a school.
