Former Seven news Reporter Joel Dry will be the Nine news Queensland Bulletin, next to Melissa Downes.
He started his career at Nine Adelaide in 2009, moved to Nine Queensland 2011 and later served as a federal political reporter in Canberra. He spent six years on seven from 2018.

I know that he will bring a new energy to the newsroom and his insightful report will add depth to our Bulletin and offer our viewers an even richer understanding of the stories that matter most.

Joel Dry is currently in Europe with Nine’s Europe correspondent and Vrouw, Jessica Milward. She will also return to Brisbane later this year and reunite the couple in the same newsroom.
He will start his role in August.
