The Miami Dolphin’s reform clearly their selection after leaving Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick.
But if they start making serious noise in 2025, attacking game makers have to perform considerably, starting with Jaylen Waddle.
Fans throw daring predictions around, but the role of Waddle can be the real game changer.
When he was asked about his season and areas for growth from 2024, he gave a refreshingly honest answer.
Marcel Louis-Jacques from ESPN reported that Waddle does not shy away from the pressure. He leans in.
“Absolutely the year that I did not want as an individual [2024]. After watching the film, certainly a lot of hand eye (coordination). I have the feeling that I am trying to move without the ball too much. Only the simple things, only timing, becoming smoother in and out of my routes, suggested the Louis-Jacques report.

The 26-year-old comes from a season that should be considered a malaise, where he caught 58 passes for 744 yards and two touchdowns.
This broke its stripe of three consecutive years by more than 1,000 meters.
The dynamics between Jaylen Waddle and Tua Tagovailoa remains central in the attack of the dolphins, especially in combination with the explosiveness of Tyreek Hill.
After a somewhat down year, Waddle urges a large rebound in 2025. Head coach Mike McDaniel has praised the effort of the Wideout and says he has seen the work firsthand.
Now that the training camp is approaching, Waddle goes to his fifth NFL season determined to prove that he and Hill are still one of the most electric duos of the competition.
His bounce-back journey starts with self-responsibility, something he has taken seriously in Miami.
The dolphins come from an 8-9 season and a second place in the AFC East, seem ready to shift the momentum.
