The Pittsburgh Steelers made another important move this season and acted for Jalen Ramsey in a daring attempt to stay competitive in the AFC North.

Ramsey has embraced his new team and places photos on social media with a Smileyface Cap next to his new Steelers sweater, proud with the number 5.

It will be the fifth consecutive season that he will put on that number.

The no. 5 sweater was previously assigned to Cornerback d’Hawn Jamison, who spent last year on the Pittsburgh practice team without seeing a game action.

Ramsey’s history with the No. 5 sweater started in 2021 when he switched from No. 20 while he was with the Los Angeles Rams.

He continued to wear no. 5 during his time at the Miami Dolphins. Before that he wore no. 20 with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Steelers made a large splash by acting for Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith, along with a seventh round pick in the 2027 NFL concept, in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick and a fifth round pick.

Allegedly, Ramsey received an increase of $ 1.5 million and raised his income from 2025 to $ 26.6 million.

The Front Office van Steelers hopes that this latest step newcomers Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf will supplement on attack, so that they can challenge the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in their division.

This trade also put an end to the ongoing rumors around Ramsey, because the dolphins revealed that they explored options.

Ramsey stayed away from all activities outside of season, including the mandatory mini camp outside of season, indicating that a movement was imminent.
