Brewing coffee with a French press can increase the risk of certain types of cancer has warned a nutritionist.
That is because this unfiltered method of oily and potentially harmful connections that are of course called in coffee – Derpenen – enables sneaking into your cup.
Long-term exposure to high levels of this connection is linked to pancreatic and throat cancers.
Other unfiltered brewing methods with which this pen and can enter the brew are espresso, cooked coffee and trendy stove top devices.
Filtered methods have since been linked to a lower risk of cancer.
According to the American nutritionist Rhonda Patrick, the link to disease lies with both Ditto penes and protective connections called polyphenols.
In A video Posted on X – who has collected more than 1.9 million views – she explained how on the one hand ‘coffee is rich in polyphenols’.
“These are antioxidants who can reduce the risk of dementia by only 50 percent and DNA damage – can reduce a critical precursor of cancer – by around 23 percent.”

But on the other hand, she added that coffee also contains ‘fat -soluble ditpenes’ that increase both cancer and heart conditions.
That is because it is known that this pen and the bad cholesterol increase in just a few weeks.
‘Bad’ cholesterol, or LDL, is a cool substance that accumulates in blood vessels, disrupts blood flow to and from the heart and increases the risk of damage to the organ.
Traditional paper drop and immediately cold brew are both filtered brewing methods that they recommend that can lower your risk of cancers and heart problems.
“They catch this pen and essentially to eliminate their negative effects, while still retaining useful polyphenols,” she explained.
However, she warned of methods that use equipment that contain harmful microplastics that can also work in your coffee.
‘Hot water to plastic will speed up the release of microplastics in your drink, as well as your plastic associated chemicals.
‘So if you are going to do filtered coffee, it is probably your best gamble. Do something in a glass container and don’t touch a plastic with warm water, “she added.

Mrs. Patrick’s warning comes after scientists discovered that too much immediate coffee could increase the risk of some types of cancer.
That is because the popular caffeinated drink contains twice as much acrylamide than ground coffee – a chemical fabric produced when some food, including coffee beans, is cooked at high temperatures.
The product has been declared by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as a ‘problem human carcinogenic’, which means that there are indications that the chemical substance can cause cancer in people.
Laboratory tests revealed that acrylamide in the diet and reproductive cancers in animals and scientists causes that according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) it has the potential for similar effects in humans.
A Polish study from 2013 that analyzed 42 samples of coffee, including ten direct coffee, revealed that instant coffee had double the amount of acrylamide than freshly ground coffee.
According to researchers from McGill University in Canada, however, you should drink around ten cups of immediate coffee a day to make your intake of acrylamide a problem.
About 80 percent of British households buy immediate coffee, in particular those older than 65, according to research by the British Coffee Association.
