Four people were killed and another three were injured when the vehicle they were traveling on Tuesday (13 May 2025) collided in the morning, nearby
The accident occurred around 9.30 am when a truck loaded with coconut on the way to Markapuram to Vinukonda bumped frontally with a Bolero Max vehicle, which came from Yerragondapalem to Vinukonda with seven passengers on board, inquired the district police.
The impact of the Collsion was serious, which led to the death of four people on the spot. The Decaased have been identified as Pagadala Subbamma, her husband Ramanana Ramana Randy, Bottu Ankamma and her husband Ramanji – all residents of Gadedapalli Village in Tarragondapalem Mandal of the Prakasam district.
Three others – Pagadala Sivamma, Kanneboina Naga Lakshmi and the Bolero driver Kadiri Nageswara Rao – were injured and were rushed to a private hospital in Vinucona.
Violation
According to preliminary information, the truck drove in the wrong direction when it collided with the Bolero. The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.
The police have registered a case and launched a search to trace the sub -aligned driver.
