Flyers are levied up to £ 1,225 as a development of user development on Navi Mumbai Airport with Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) that approve the AD HOC tariff proposal.

Navi Mumbai Airport is expected to start activities from the end of August. While the domestic flights start first, the airport also encourages international services and has cut the nod to refrain from landing costs for overseas routes for a year.

AERA has allowed UDF of £ 620 and £ 1,225 respectively for passengers who leave in domestic and international flights. Passengers who arrive at domestic and international flights will be charged £ 270 and £ 525 respectively.

Higher rates

However, the supervisor rejected Navi Mumbai Airport’s proposal for higher rates.

“Proposal from the airport operator for UDF and landing costs must be rationalized and moderated,” said Aera.

The supervisor also asked the target rate given by the airport operator for freight activities and mentioned the complex. However, the same is considered to be time and the airport has been asked to simplify its rates for freight services.

According to the airport entry, it expects to treat nearly 12 million passengers in FY26, with most domestic routes. By 2030 the airport is expected to process 33.90 million passengers.

During the first and second phase, Navi Mumbai Airport has a Capex of £ 22,531 Crore.
