G2’s EWC hopes roasted due to illness and bilibili gaming
G2, the back-to-back VCT Americas champions, was confronted from the start with a tough fight because of the absence of Nathan “Leaf” ORF, with assistant coach Peter “Shhhack” Belej who got into. In their Do-Or-Die series against Bilibili Gaming, G2 initially struggled and lost the first card with 13-3. While they returned with a 13-4 victory over Pearl, Shhhack admired, BLG eventually achieved a 13-11 victory on the third card, ending G2’s EWC trip.

VCT China Stage 1 champions XLG continued their series Windless International Tournaments. After they were swept at Masters Toronto, they almost repeated those performance on the EWC. Their best loss for DRX has set up an elimination rematch against Sentinels.
