Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar on Thursday (22 May 2025) interaction with members of the German Parliament during his official visit to the country. The EAM held discussions about broad topics, including the permanent dedication of India to combat terrorism in all forms and manifestations.
Sharing the details in a post on X, the minister said that he appreciated the support of the members of Parliament for the growth of India-Germany tires.
He wrote on X: “A good interaction with members of the German Bundestag in Berlin. Appreciate their strong support for the continuous growth of India-German relations. Also with them, India’s firm involvement of combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations.”
Earlier in the day, EAM Jaishankar was also chairman of the regional conference of Indian ambassadors in Europe, where he discussed Operation Sindoor and India’s message of zero tolerance for terrorism.
EAM said they also discussed various aspects of further in -depth commitments with Europe.
He wrote on X, “was chairman of the regional conference of our ambassadors in Europe today in Berlin. We discussed #Opsindoor and our message from zero turlerance for terrorism. Also considered various aspects of deeper fascinating Europe in a time of change.”
Mr Jaishankar is on an official visit to the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany from 19 to 24 May.
Earlier during his visit to the Netherlands, EAM Jaishankar had emphasized the determination of India against terrorism.
