Cooper Flagg is still the priceless favorite to win Rookie of the Year -Honours next season, but the players then considered his greatest competition shifted after the first round of the NBA design of 2025.
Flagg was opened as the -400 Roy favorite of Betmgm, although those opportunities were trimmed to -225 with the number 1 general choice to a Dallas Mavericks team that does not necessarily need him to be a striking star like a Rookie.
Flagg has signed the second Roy bets at 13.0 percent and money at 13.6 percent, but it is not one of the three largest obligations of the book.
The highest honor there goes to Dylan Harper, who was selected second by the San Antonio Spurs. He leads all players supported by 21.7 percent of tickets and 29.8 percent of the promotion. Just like Flagg, however, Harper gets into a situation in which he founded star teammates in Victor Wembanyama and De’aaron Fox.
That is the main reason that Harper only has the fourth shortest Roy opportunities on +1100 at Betmgm. He is behind Flagg, Tre Johnson (+700) and Ace Bailey (+800). Johnson, a bucket filler from Texas, gets the chance to be a primary scoring option at the Washington Wizards, who generally selected him sixth. Bailey, chosen in fifth place, landed with a Utah team who desperately needs a young star that can contribute immediately.
The Jazz also selected former Florida star Walter Clayton Jr. with the 18th general pick. Although he was not seen as a particularly strong ball handler, Clayton was the second biggest liability of the book for Roy Honors as a longshot of +10000, causing his chances to fall to +6600.
No. 3 In terms of Betmgm’s largest obligations, former Oklahoma guard Jeremiah Fears, who moved from +4000 to +3500 after he was generally selected by the pelicans of New Orleans seventh.
The same top four candidates lead the board at Draftkings, but in a different order. The next flagg (-185) is Harper (+900), Bailey (+950) and Johnson (+1000).
Draftings also offers a whole series of flagg-specific props, including individual over/under markets at an average of 16.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per match during the regular season. Drafkings also offers a parlay with +285 chances that Flagg will on average at least 18 points and six rebounds per match will be on average.
Frisky Gokkers can choose a three-way parlay on +6500 that adds the Mavericks to win the Southwest division.
After the design, Dallas was offered on +1500 to win the division, +2500 to win the Western Conference and +4000 to win the NBA title of 2025-26.
