David Beckham was depicted for the first time with a plaster cast after an operation, while he waved to fans prior to Inter Miami’s Club World Cup collision against Paris Saint-Germain in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday.
The 50-year-old was admitted to the hospital last week after he had been left in ‘unbearable’ pain and needed surgery to remove a screw that is embedded in his wrist due to an old injury while playing for England 22 years ago.
Beckham, who is co-owner of Inter Miami, was seen in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a blue pendulum with his right hand encapsulated in a gypsum lock, but appeared in a good mood while greeting smiling and supporters for the game.
The club president of Miami was also interviewed Pitchside together with fellow owner Jorge Mas.
When Dazn was asked how his wrist felt, Beckham replied: ‘It’s fine. It was an old injury that needed surgery, but it’s all good. ‘

He continued: ‘To have ended my career in Paris as I did with this club, was very special. I only spent six months there, but it felt like 16 years old. It is a real family, a real special club, owned by special people, run by a special man.
‘We are very proud at the moment, to stand here knowing that we are playing against PSG – as owners, as friends, as parters, it is very special.
Beckham’s appearance in Atlanta came only a few days after wife Victoria, 51, a photo of him in the hospital shared that recovered from the operation and wrote on Instagram: “Better Soon Dad” while he smiled despite the discomfort.
MailOnline recently revealed that the former Captain of England had experienced deteriorated pain in recent months, causing the embedded screw serious discomfort before being forced to undergo an operation last week.
Despite his recent hospitalization, Beckham made the trip to Georgia to support his team in one of their biggest competitions since the club’s formation.

Beckham concluded the tribute by including the Instagram handles from different family members, including his three sons.
