UK NHS, Boehringer Ingelheim Taiwan adopt Coreline Soft Imaging AI
The South Korean imaging AI developer Coreline Soft recently bought several supply contracts in the United Kingdom, Europe and Taiwan.
It has obtained its first contract with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) to offer its AI-driven medical image analysis software Aview for the Eastern Diagnostic Imaging Network Project, a collaboration between NHS Trusts in Eastern England. The software will be used in 12 hospitals, including Cambridge University Hospital, for health screening and general CT exams.
The company was also named the exclusive provider of an AI image analysis software for the National Lung Cancer Screening Project of the French National Cancer Institute (Institut National du Cancer). Host Hospitals, Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris and Lyon City Hospital, Coreline Soft’s AI-driven lung cancer screening solution, which can detect lung nodules, emphysema and coronary artery calcification in a single CT scan of the breast scan.
In addition, Coreline Soft will supply its AI software module for identifying lung worming patterns to partner Hospitals of Boehringer Ingelheim Taiwan as part of a program to test and verify anti-fibrotic medicines. The pharmaceutical company will use the lung pattern analysis module, which automatically connects CT analysis reports from the breast to PACs and RIS in almost real -time, to quickly identify eligible patients with interstitial lung disease and abnormalities for clinical tests of OFEVIbilast.
Vuno receives EU MD, UKCA markings
Colleague Korean Medical AI Company, Vuno, has obtained the certification of the Medical Device Regulation Certification of the European Union and the British conformity has assessed the Mark for its flagship AI-driven aid assessment of cardiac arrest.

Another medical AI company from South Korea, Aitrics, also announced its approval of medical devices from the Hong Kong government.
It has received the approval of the Hong Kong Medical Device Division for its AI software, which analyzes EMR data to predict the risk of patients on large side effects, including sepsis, cardiac arrest, IC transfer and death, within four to six hours.
This is the fourth approval of the regulations after approval of South Korea, the United States and Vietnam.

The maker of medical devices received his first 510 (K) for his AI-driven solution in 2023.
