Representatives of IT companies – cognizing and informationys – have gathered to resolve disputes about a trade secret blackout case between them, and also about other disputes, according to an order of an American court on Monday.

The two companies have jointly asked the court to expand the deadline to submit a joint report with another three days.

“At the same time, the parties have drawn up a supplementary joint report, but it keeps moving while the parties negotiate a resolution,” the companies said in an order.

This is after the court has asked both companies to sit down the table and resolve the disputes, amicably and efficiently in connection with a commercial security shop that has been moved against Cognizant by Infosys. On 12 June, the court assigned both parties to meet and to consult certain open discovery cases and to submit their answers on 23 June 2025.

The parties have met and granted with regard to the changed interrogation reactions of Infosys and are working on a possible solution to the remaining disputes with regard to those reactions.

The parties believe that a brief expansion of the deadline to submit an additional joint report and an additional joint appendix will enable the parties to fully resolve their disputes by agreement, or to at least limit the disputes, says the judicial order.

It all started in August 2024 with Cognizant who accused Infosys of stealing trade secrets with regard to his health care platform, trizetto. At the beginning of this year, Infosys submitted an antitrust case against Cognizant Court who claimed it used a competitive scheme. The counterclaim of Infosys comes after Cognizant -daughter Trizetto claimed that Infosys had stolen commercial secrets with regard to the software for healthcare insurance

linehas contacted knowledge of a comment about this.

Infosys also claimed that the monopolistic strategies of Cognizant include the imposition of restrictive contractual obligations without a legitimate goal and breaking Infosys to participate in training programs that was traditionally offered while they continue to make training available to others.
