Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin On Saturday (April 12, 2025), AIADMK leaders who had mortgished the party after two raids through the central agencies that the State tried to mortgage the state by adjusting the BJP.
In a statement in Chennai, he said that the alliance itself was a scam.

The Chief Minister said that the Aiadmk-BJP combination was a failed alliance and the people of Tamil Nadu had constantly defeated it in the elections.
“Minister of the Interior Amit Shah has again created a failed alliance. It could be his wish to create the alliance. But he did not explain the reasons and principles behind its foundation. He has just said that there would be a common minimum program (CMP),” the main minister said.
Mr Stalin also wanted to know whether the CMP would include the opposition of the AIADMK against Neet, the WAQF (change) account and definition that could reduce the number of Lok Sabha chairs to Tamil Nadu.

“Mr. Shah did not touch those issues and did not allow AIADMK leadership to express its position. He criticized the DMK, the state government and me,” said Mr Stalin.
The main minister said that the DMK had fought for the rights of states, the Tamil culture, while the BJP-ASDMK alliance was formed with a feast for power.
“The BJP leadership tries to destroy Tamil Nadu by various designs, including the imposition of Hindi and delimitation.
