The family of an Australian man who was arrested in Bali in connection with the alleged smuggling of 1.7 kilograms of cocaine says that it trusts that the correct process will be maintained in the handling of his case.

Lamar Aaron Ahchee was arrested on 22 May in his apartment in the Balinese village of Tibubeneng in Noord -Kuta.

The police claim that the 43-year-old received two packages there, which contained an estimated $ 1.1 million in cocaine in 206 small packages.
