Thousands of Australian sellers receive a new B2B channel when Amazon Business is launching

Amazon Australia has officially launched Amazon Business, a new B2B marketplace that is designed to make purchasing easier and more cost-effective for Australian companies of any size.

This step as a new YouGOV research reveals that 90% of Australian small and medium -sized companies (SMEs) struggle with rising operating costs, with more than 80% forced to increase prices by an average of 13% in the past three years.

Amazon Business is intended to relieve this financial pressure by offering tailor -made purchasing solutions that provide meaningful cost savings and operational efficiency.

Rising costs stimulate change

The Yougov study, commissioned by Amazon Australia, showed that 92% of SMEs have had to deal with higher costs in the past three years. Operating costs are the largest care for 79% of the companies investigated, with the costs of goods and products that are identified by 62% as the most important motivation of rising costs.

As a result, 83% of SMEs have to pass on these costs to customers. What Amazon Business offers

The platform offers a wide range of products, including office supplies, electronics and furniture, all supported by the efficient Amazon delivery network. Australia is now the 11th country that launches Amazon Business, according to markets such as the US, the UK and Germany. The most important functions for business users include:

  • Verified customers receive a 30% discount (up to $ 100) with their first purchase until June 30, 2025.
  • Combines fast shipping with business -oriented functions such as shared accounts and buying policy to streamline purchasing and reduce costs.
