A woman warned those who use Blockbuster Weight loss Jabs who can be useless – after being conceived on Mounjaro, despite taking the pill.
Natasha Major, 26, from Hertfordshire, only became pregnant two weeks after starting the injections, although she had fertility problems and had birth control.
Ironically, the trainee teacher started using the puncture, called the ‘King Kong’ of weight loss Jabs, in an attempt to improve her health before trying to have a third child.
Because of its polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) – a condition that causes irregular periods, weight gain and fertility problems – a great idea that would be pregnant would be a challenge.
It follows one Alert published yesterday, by the United Kingdoms and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), who encouraged women to use Mounjaro to ‘double’ their contraception when they use the pill due to worried effectiveness.
In the meantime, those who use other slimming jabs, such as Ozempic and Wegovy, were advised to use ‘effective’ contraception due to a lack of data about whether the medicines are safe to use during pregnancy.
There can be potential risks for both the pregnant woman and the fetus.
Civil servants added that women who become pregnant during the use of the medication must stop taking them immediately.
Natasha Major, 26, became unexpectedly pregnant, even though he had the pill and her constant battle with PCOS, after just two weeks on Mounjaro

Natasha and her partner, Liam Bennet, 27, (right) always wanted another child, but Natasha wanted to wait until she had lost weight and could have a healthier pregnancy
Those who are breastfeeding must also stop the injections.
Despite the fact that they had two children, Mrs. Major and her partner had struggled with fertility problems, especially when trying for their second child.
This inspired her to start a weight loss trip to improve her chances of a healthy third pregnancy.
“I wanted to be healthy and self -assured, so I could get a healthier pregnancy,” she said.
‘Being overweight and being pregnant makes it difficult. Me and my partner already have two children and always knew that we would love it even more, but I have too heavy.
“I hoped I would lose the weight, so I went online and ordered the Mounjaro injections,” she added.
However, after just two weeks on the slimming jabs, Mrs. Major became pregnant – despite taking the pill, which she had for three months every morning at the same time.
On May 6, only two weeks after she started Mounjaro, Mrs. Major tested positively.

The warning comes after countless reports of women who have unplanned pregnancies while poking such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro, despite the use of contraception

“We didn’t intend, so first I was in disbelief. It really surprised me, “she said.
“When I tried it for my second daughter, it took two years and the entire two years I did ovulation tests for months and I never got a positive one.”
After reading about the potential damage that the Jabs could cause her baby, Mrs. Major was hit with a wave of fear.
“I had something like” Oh my God, something can go wrong or there might be something wrong with the baby or I might be able to miscarriage. ”
Mrs. Major said she called her doctor, who told her to call 111, a non-release helpline.
‘They almost said that there is absolutely no information about it.
“Everything she said was, when you start bleeding, you are probably a miscarriage and to stop taking the Mounjaro.”
Now, nine weeks later, Mrs. Major has received the good news that her baby is healthy after an early scan.

Natasha and her partner already have two daughters, Mabel and Gracie. It took them two years of trying for their second daughter, so Natasha would believe they would have trouble experiencing problems when they decided to try for their third

Natasha found it difficult to be overweight and to be pregnant with her second child, so she decided that she wanted to lose the weight and wait two to three years before she tried another child
The expectant mother said: ‘I’m a lot happier now. I was not unhappy in the beginning, but it was just a shock that took over. ‘
Mrs Major is now campaigning for a better awareness of the possible side effects of popular weight loss, such as Mounjaro.
“I can’t remember anywhere, or it was not made clear to me that Mounjaro can dilute your contraceptive pill,” she said.
“There are many people who really don’t know.
‘I am lucky that I want to be a mother again. But there is still a constant worries that I was on [the weight loss jabs] And there are no studies for that.
“Until I have that baby and they are good and healthy and everything went smoothly, I still have that feeling in mind.”
Mounjaro, who works by stimulating levels of appetite-suppressing hormones, is supposed to cause disturbance of the digestive system, so that the contraceptive can be washed away via loose, frequent stools and/or vomiting.
To date, civil servants of the safety of drugs have received more than 40 reports with regard to pregnancy in women about drugs.
The reports regarding pregnancy, registered by doctors and patients, include problems such as birth defects, miscarriages and non -planned pregnancies.
In some cases, the MHRA added that women should continue to use birth control for a maximum of two months after stopping the medicines before they try to get pregnant.
Patients who use weight loss injections are already advised to use contraception and stop taking the medicines when they become pregnant, in leaflets associated with the medicines.
About 35,000 British women in childhood were prescribed the Jabs on the NHS in England in 2024, official figures suggest.
However, this is probably an underestimation, since many acquire the medicine privately.
A spokesperson for Eli Lilly, the medicine company that makes Mounjaro, said: ‘Patient safety is the highest priority of Lilly, and we have actively participated in monitoring, evaluating and reporting safety information for all our medicines.
“The summary of the product characteristics for Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) explains that Tirzepatide has the potential to influence the absorption rate of simultaneously administered oral medicinal products, and that the impact is most pronounced at the time of tirzepatide treatment intitiation.”
‘The Tirzepatide patient information department pregnancy section states: This drug should not be used during pregnancy, because the effects of this medicine on an unborn child are not known.
“If you are pregnant, think you are pregnant or are planning to get a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine.”
