A case of kidnapping and extortion is registered against actor-cum politician G. Krishnakumar and his family on the basis of a complaint submitted by a female employee of his daughter DIYA’s company, the police said Saturday (June 7, 2025).
The complainant claimed that she was abducted by Mr. Krishnakumar and DIYA and that money was extorted from her, the police said.
Gamousing case against the complainant
At the same time, the police also registered a case of embezzlement against the employee on the basis of the complaint submitted by Mr Krishnakumar and his daughter.
“The two cases are registered. We will go through all the evidence that is submitted together with the complaints. After that, further steps will be taken,” said an officer of the police station of the museum, where the FIRs are registered.
Mr. Krishnakumar meanwhile told a TV channel that, while DIYA was pregnant, she could not follow the company and during that time three female employees who worked there disappeared around £ 69 Lakh from the company.
He claimed that when they learned it and the police action threatened, the women came to meet them with their husbands and admitted them to carry out the embezzlement.
“They initially paid about £ 8 Lakh and said they would return the rest of the money and asked us not to submit a complaint. But later one of them called my daughter, after which we filed a complaint to the police on 30 or 31 May,” he claimed.
Their complaint was a opposition to ours and was submitted a day after we did that, he continued.
“Now I have learned that a case has been registered with all six members of my family, including my son-in-law under unavoidable provisions,” he said.
Mr Krishnakumar said he sent an e -mail to the chief minister’s office in which the situation is explained and received an answer there.
He also claimed that he has electronic evidence, including video, from the employees who perform the eclipse and their subsequent recognition of feelings of guilt.
“All these have been given to the police,” he said.
