If Devin Haney is looking for an opponent later this summer, Adam Azim has offered his services.

Firstly, Azim accepted a Short-Notice assignment to Eliot Chavez from Mexico this Saturday.

He boxes Chavez on the Undercard of Callum Simpson’s European title fight with Ivan Zucco at Oakwell Stadium in Barnsley, Live On Sky Sports.

After beating former world champion Sergey Lipinets in February, this competition could be a risk for Azim in this phase of his career.

Adam Azim overwhelmed the former IBF sup light weight world champion Sergey Lipinets near Wembley in brutal fight.

But the unbeaten former European champion does not see it that way. “I was always in the gym anyway,” he said Sky Sports. “A few rounds of sparring here and there, so here now.

“Everything can happen when boxing [but] If you are always in good condition, you can always argue.

“It’s just another day at the office.”

Chavez has an early career -Knock -Out about Mauricio Lara on his record. Lara beat both Josh Warrington and Leigh Wood in more recent times. Relevanter, Chavez did Box Harlem Eank in 2022, nine rounds before he was disqualified.

This fight will be a natural comparison point between Azim and Eank. “If I stop him early, or can stop him, it shows the level I am,” said Azim. “That’s the plan. I’m going to box to get the knockout. I did a great achievement in my last one and I want to do the same in this.

“He will try and that’s what I want.”

Azim is ready to seize opportunities this year. If Devin Haney needs an opponent, Azim would like to get into the infringement.

Dalton Smith speaks about Tee2 toe, says that a fight against Adam Azim will happen, but not until he has shot his world title as Gary Logan has his say about the two hunters.

Haney, a former undisputed champion at Lightweight and the WBC World Titlist at Super-Lightweight, has seen a fight with Teofimo Lopez through it. Azim has offered its services for a fight with Haney later in the summer.

“I would fight Haney next week,” said Azim. “I just feel that he is moving more and does not want to initiate attacks. He is a top level hunter, but I don’t think he is the same hunter he was earlier.

“If he runs on the backfoot and throws one injection around the two rounds, why not?”

Adam Azim’s trainer Shane McGuigan shared how he thinks his hunter would be honest if he would fight against Dalton Smith after he had called him after his victory over Sergey Lipinets.

Azim believes that Haney is missing the aggression and power he needs in this weight.

“For me I can fight for foot and back foot,” said the Brit. “Haney, I think he has enough power to keep someone away, but I don’t think he has that one-punch strength.

“But I think if I were fighting him, I think I would beat him with speed.”
