Direct-to-consumer Virtual Care Company Hims & Hare Health announced that the Telegene Medicine Provider is acquiring Zava, allowing it to expand to the UK and launches in Germany, France and Ireland.
In a statement, the company said that the acquisition “will considerably strengthen the international footprint of Hims & Hare’s.”
The ZAVA medical team currently serves more than 1.3 million customers. The company calls that it provided nearly 2.3 million consultations in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Ireland in 2024.
Hims & Hare will focus on offering personalized health in the field of weight management, dermatology, sexual health and mental health.
“The demand for simpler, more personalized healthcare is universal,” said Andrew Dudum, founder and CEO of Hims & Hare, in a statement.
“By using the established European presence of ZAVA, advanced technology and in -depth customer comprehension, we are ready to fundamentally transform access to millions throughout Europe.”
David Meinertz, co -founder and CEO of Zava, said that regardless of where they live, people need health care who is ‘personal, reliable and fast’.
“By joining forces with HIMS & HARE, we can place that standard within the reach of millions of more people throughout Europe,” Meinertz said in a statement.
“Together we will combine Zava’s familiar clinical services, established footprint and a deep understanding of the European Healthcare Landscape with the Hims & Hare experience to make affordable access to high-quality, personalized care the rule, not the exception.”
The larger trend
In April, Hims & Hare Worked together with Novo Nordisk to give Americans access to a bundled offer, including the obesity medicine of the pharmaceutical giant Gigant Wegovy and a HIMS & HORS membership from $ 599 a month.
Through the partnership, HIMS & HARE members have access to Novocare Pharmacy, an offer via Novo Nordisk with which people without insurance can obtain the Wegovy medication and the offer of HIMS, including 24/7 care, nutrition guidance and clinical support.
In February, Hims & Hare Acquired home Lab Testing Facility Sigmund NJ LLC, also known as Trybe Labs.
The acquisition of the New Jersey -based test facility enabled customers to take better control over their health and providers were allowed to access a series of data and biomarkers that can help identify the risk of diseases before it develops.
