The relationship between US President Donald Trump and former assistant Elon Musk has fallen to a new low point, with the accusations of the couple on social media.
His comments came hours after Mr Trump regretted his collapsing with Mr. Musk at a press conference of the White House and said that he was “disappointed” in his former backer and adviser.
Mr. Musk responded to social media and said “what”, add “without me, Trump would have lost the elections” and “such a thanklessness”.
“Elon was” thin “,” Mr Trump hit back to the truth of the truth.
“I asked him to leave, I took his EV mandate away that everyone forced to buy electric cars that nobody else wanted (who he knew for months I was going to do!), And he just went crazy!
“The easiest way to save money in our budget, billions and billions of dollars is to end Elon’s government subsidies and contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t work!”
Mr. Musk denied Mr. Trump’s comments in a post on social media platform X and said “such an obvious lie” and “so sad” before he returned to his own claims.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: [Trump] Is in the Epstein files, “he said.
“That is the real reason why they were not made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
The American president is under pressure while trying to muscle his “large, beautiful bill” – a huge plan for the American economy, which will increase the debt ceiling, reduce taxes and reduce the health benefits of Medicaid for the poorest Americans – by the American legislative power.
Mr. Musk, one of the greatest donors of the Republicans, took out the bill this week and burned it a “disgusting horror” who will “burden American citizens with crushing untenable debt”.
The president escalated De Veve on Thursday, local time, while he lay down in the Tesla CEO during a press conference in the White House.
“Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we want that more,” he said.
“He said the most beautiful things about me, and he didn’t say bad things about me personally, but I’m sure that’s the next one.
“But I am, I am very disappointed in Elon. I helped Elon a lot.“
The president claimed that Mr. Musk, who played a cost -saving role in his administration until last week as part of the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge), was against the proposed elimination of tax credits for consumers for electric vehicles.
“Elon knew the inner functioning of this account, better than almost everyone who sat here,” said Mr. Trump.
“He knew all about it. He had no problem with it. He suddenly had a problem, and he only developed the problem when he discovered that we should cut the EV [electric vehicle] Mandate, because that is billions and billions of dollars. “
“He’s not the first”
The president also hinted that Mr. Musk, whom he praised heavily when he left his role of the White House last week, was upset because he missed the work for the government.
“He’s not the first,” said Mr. Trump. “People leave my administration, then they miss it so badly at some point, and some of them embrace it and some of them actually get hostile.”
While Mr. Trump was speaking, Mr. Musk seemed to double his opposition and wrote on X, “Slim Beautiful Bill For The Win”.
He also posted the president’s comments in 2013 in which he said he was “ashamed”, Republicans raised the guilt ceiling and called them “wise words”.
He aroused his attacks and accused Mr Trump of “thanklessness” and added: “Without me Trump would have lost the elections, DEMS would control the house and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.”
He said that he felt comfortable with the cutbacks on credits for electric vehicles, as long as republicans, which he called a “mountain of disgusting pork” in wasting editions from the bill.
The legislation adopted the congress earlier this week, but could be confronted with fierce opposition of the Senate of Democrats and some skeptical republicans.
