Apple TV+ has released first images of SLODAY HORSE Season five, starring Gary Oldman, premiered in September.
“Slow Horses” is a dark humorous spy drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence services that serve in a dumping division of MI5 known as Slough House. Oldman, who has been honored with Golden Globe, Emmy and Bafta Award nominations for his performance, stars such as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but litter-tanking leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House because of their career-ending mistakes because they often blunder around the smoke and mirrors.
In season five of “Slow Horses” everyone is suspicious when Resident Tech Nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series is taking place more and more bizarre events in the city, it is for the slow horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that the rules of London – your backs – are always applicable in the world of espionage.

The complete first four seasons of “Slow Horses”, which are now streaming on Apple TV+, hold a certified new score, with two seasons that receive a rare, perfect 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. The worldwide -acclaimed third season earned nine Primetime Emmy Award -Nominations, with a victory for “Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series”. Season six of the widespread, dark comic espionage drama was announced in 2024.
The series is produced for Apple TV+ from See-SAW films and adapted for television by Will Smith. Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Will Smith and Graham Yost serve as executive producers in the series. Saul Metzstein, who earned an Emmy nomination for excellent direction for a drama series for his work about three “Slow Horses” season, returns to the Helms season five.
First two episodes Wednesday 24 September then weekly on Apple TV+.
