Phaedra Parks opens about her love for first -class flying.
Phaedra Parks brought out the vouchers to show the high price she willingly pays to fly herself and her two sons first class on every trip.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star open up about her love for flying first class in People‘s new YouTube series Retain coupons. According to the Delta vouchers, Parks spend almost $ 3,000 per ticket to ensure that she and her two sons travel in luxury.
“I always fly as the first class or private,” Parks says the camera. “Okay, so I have a ticket for Aiden, and that ticket was $ 2,767.97. One for my youngest son, Dylan, $ 2,767.97, and one for myself, $ 2,767.97. I would never put my children in coach.”
“If I am in first class, my children will certainly be in the first class,” she added. “I think that is in bad taste to travel in the first class and let your children fly with coach. What does that say about you as a parent? That’s terrible.”
Parks follows her love for luxury air travel back to her younger days, when a professional athlete with whom she went to fly her first class to watch his games. After that first taste of the experience, she was addicted.
“I was not really flown as the first class until my friend, who played in the NFL, started to send me on first class trips to see him play games,” she shared. “I was 18, 19 and I got a taste of luxury, honey. I never went back.”
The Bravo star, who recently returned to Rhoa after he was fired in season 9, added the ticket prices and unveiled the nearly $ 10,000 that her family costs to take a flight.
“So if you add all the junk costs, it comes to $ 8,303.91 in American dollars,” Parks said. “The prices for flying are incredibly high. It is almost more logical to fly privately because aircraft fuel almost necks with first -class tickets.”
To compensate for the high costs of flying first class, Parks is now looking for her own private jet.
