1. The worst affected states are Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka and New Delhi. Kerala records the highest with 1415. Followed by Maharashtra (494) and Delhi (372)
2. 5 Deaths were reported in Kerala (1), Maharashtra (2), Tamil Nadu (1) and West Bengal (1).
- An 80 -year -old man with severe pneumonia died in Kerala
- A 70-year-old woman and the 73-year-old woman died in Maharashtra.
- A 69 -year -old woman with type 2 diabetes mellitus and Parkinson’s disease died in Tamil Nadu.
- A 43 -year -old woman with -acute coronary syndrome, septic shock, acute kidney injury died in West bengal.
3. There are 18 active fresh Covid cases in Haryana. 14 cases are Van Gurugram (5), Faridabad (4) and Karnaal Districts (5). Ambala has included 2 new suitcases. Jhajjar and Sonipat each have one.
4. Odisha reported three more positive cases of COVID-19 and brought the total to 15 cases. Karnataka records 87 new COVID-19 cases, which means that the total number of active infections of the state are brought to 311.
5. The Supreme Court of Delhi Saud that “Next Covid-19 Pandemie is not nearly over”. Delhi HC is looking for a land Status report with details about its actions with regard to sample collection, collection centers and transport of monsters from the central government.
About the COVID 19 new variants
The COVID 19 -variant Omicron is very changeable and tansmistable. NB.1.8.1, the descendant of the Omicron family, is behind the recent increase in cases throughout India. This is highly contagious, changeable and transferable, but the symptoms remain ‘mild’, as confirmed by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The symptoms are fever, cough, sore throat, headache, loss of appetite, body pain, fatigue and runny nose. The symptoms remain comparable to colds and flu.
Both central and national governments have given advice on the increase in cases throughout India. The hospitals are put on high reports, with precautions, including availability of beds, oxygen cylinders are being restored. The government has advised not to panic in this situation.
