Pioneer India, a subsidiary of Pioneer Corporation, a global player in Automotive Electronics and Mobility Solutions, has set up his new Research & Development (R&D) Center in Bengaluru, India.
The Bengaluru R&D Center Will Be Working Closely with Pioneer’s Global Network of R&D and Engineering Centers, Focusing On Developing Solutions for Automotive Vision & Sensing Technologies (Dash Cams, Digital Mirrors, 360 ° Vision Systems) Digital Cockpit & Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Cloud-Connected Infotainment & Telematics, AI & mobility data platforms and connected solutions for two-wheelers (navigation displays, safety warnings, mobile integration, SOS functions).
The center will serve OEM, aftermarket and B2B segments-inclusive fleet operators and insurance providers while it also meets the specific needs of Indian car manufacturers through faster development cycles and region-specific solutions.

As part of the expansion strategy, Pioneer is planning to hire in a wide range of technical disciplines in India, including talent in embedded software, computer vision, cloud connectivity, mobile integration and AI.
