After the payment of the Venture Loan from RS 50 Crore, they did not take care of the end use of the Fund for the target, and Kanakia did not reimburse the outstanding loan.
In addition, Kuruvilla and WB Prasad from Becil did not obtain any collateral security from TGBL to protect the loan in accordance with the loan agreement and in violation of the conditions of the Enterprise Loan agreement that is carried out between the two companies. The accused caused an unlawful loss of RS 58.60 Crore to Becil, the CBI investigation revealed.
During the investigation, Kuruvilla, WB Prasad and Kanakia were arrested and sent to judicial detention.
