Cold temperatures and fleshy showers were in the Chicago forecast Monday, said the NBC 5 Storm team, followed by a full day of rain Tuesday.

The cool and rainy prediction comes after days of record-breaking, 80 and 90-degree heat and a rare fabric storm that creates “life-threatening” travel conditions and links cars and houses with dirt and dust.

According to NBC 5 meteorologist Alicia Roman, the temperatures will be a wide range on Monday, with measurements as low as the top 40s to low 50s along the lake, up to the 60s and Low 70s inland and south.

It was expected that cooler would stay in the forecast for the next two weeks, Roman said, with the Climate prediction center Until 1 June a good chance of “below average” temperatures in the Chicago area.

Monday could also see a fleshy shower in the morning, although a better chance of showers and storms was expected in the West around 11 p.m.

“Nothing serious,” Roman emphasized.

Tuesday will see a damp start to the day, with scattered showers that start early in the morning. By noon there can be embedded thunderstorms and heavy rain shower, Roman said,

“It will stay with us all day,” said Roman. “A pretty decent week.”

Most areas will see no less than 1.5 to 2 centimeters of rain on Tuesday, Roman said, with potentially smooth and smooth road conditions for both morning and evening living work traffic.

The temperatures remain cool on Tuesday, with highlights in the 50 along the lake but warmer to the south and the interior. As the week progresses, a slow warming -up trend against Friday will bring temperatures in the upper 60s, Roman said.
