Proponents helped to erase litter and debris, including beer bottles and beverage cans, amid a carnival atmosphere around Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.
After calls from a few Eagles fans to ensure that there was no nest left before the trip to Wembley was made from the center of the capital.
A fan wrote on Friday evening: ‘#CPFC fans – can people make an attempt to pack a bin lining before they leave the house and are on their way to Covent Garden? The bins in the neighborhood will go over quickly.
‘There was a small amount of nest behind after the SF – let’s show everyone that palace fans are doing the best. Spread the word! ‘
On Saturday, many fans answered the call-to-arms before the showpiece event in Wembley to ensure that no waste had been left.
