Extreme right-wing party alternative for Germany (AfD) has filed a lawsuit that disputes the decision of the country of the country to classify it as an extremist organization.

Both a lawsuit and a petition were submitted by the party to the Spyage Office, said a spokesperson for the Administrative Court in Cologne on Monday, local time.

The extremist classification, which was announced on Friday, enables the service to better follow the party, which became second in the Federal Elections of the Land in February.

The report of the agency, which should not be released to the public, found the largest opposition party in parliament a racist and anti-Muslim organization.

The move means that the parliament of the country could now try to limit or stop public financing for the AfD.

The incoming government will also evaluate whether he should launch an attempt at an outright prohibition of the party, said SPD leader Lars Klingbeil last week.

The AfD has denounced the designation as a politically motivated attempt to discredit it and to criminalize it.

The lawsuit followed incoming Chancellor Friedrich Merz who promised to curb irregular migration and to stop the rise of anti-immigration.

Will the AfD be banned?

German legislators have discussed the party, the officials who are members of the AfD and limit public financing.

But incoming German Minister of the Interior Alexander Dobrindt said it was unlikely that the party would be banned.

The guidelines established by the Constitutional Court say that a party must be demonstrated that it works “combination and aggressively” to implement its goals to be banned.

“I am skeptical, because the aggressive, combative nature of the party should be a decisive feature against our democracy,” said Mr Dobrindt.

He added that he “was convinced that the AfD does not have to be forbidden, he must be ruled and we have to talk about the issues that the AfD made so big”.

DEAD CO leader Alice Weidel accused the departing Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser of the use of the Spy Agency as a “secret legal system” to discriminate against the party.

“We are a future ruling party; even the machinations of the Secret Justice System will not be able to prevent this in the long term,” Weidel told the Welt -Krant on Sunday.

The US and Russia weigh

The American Vice President JD Vance described the AfD – who, like Donald Trump, campaigned against immigration – as “the most popular party in Germany”.

State Secretary Marco Rubio mentioned the relocation of the German intelligence service “Tiranny in disguise”.

Germany said on Monday that Mr Rubio of the decision of the Agency “rejects” the decision.

“I repeat that the insinuations (in his comments) are certainly unfounded,” said spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sebastian Fischer.

Since the February elections, the AFD has held neck-and-neck in opinion polls and occasionally leads.

Mr. Merz, who will take office on Tuesday, promised the signing ceremony of Monday “Strong, well -planned and reliable board”.

“We live in times of in -depth change, in -depth unrest … and of great uncertainty, and that is why we know that it is our historical obligation to lead this coalition to success,” he said.

The Kremlin claims that Germany’s decision to classify the party is a restrictive measure against European non-Mainstream troops.
