Sir Elton John has not yet finished collaborating with Brandi Carlile, because the couple bundle the forces to compensate for cuts to HIV and AIDS financing by US President Donald Trump.

The singing duo wants to pick up $ 1,000,000 to combat the global crisis and ‘ensuring compassionate care’ reaches those who are most needed.

On March 28, the Trump administration cut at least 145 subsidies that had received $ 450,000,000 to federal funds for investigating the disease.

These subsidies offered support for scientists who tried to eradicate HIV transmission and improve the quality of life for those who live with it.

The Elton John Aids Foundation and Uitkijk Foundation, founded by Brandi, have announced a new initiative to raise money to compensate for these cuts.

The ‘Who believes in Angels’ campaign – named after their number one album – corresponds to every donation that is made to ‘Double’ the Impact.

“Without rapid action, decades of progress in the global fight against HIV can be reversed, creating a global health crisis that we have both power and the tools to prevent,” said Sir Elton.

He continued: “Our mission is more important than ever – we refuse to leave someone behind – and I am so happy that Brandi is not only a great employee and artist, but a precious friend who shares my vision of a world where HIV care is prioritized and protected.”

Sir Elton founded the foundation in 1992, but the Rocket Response Fund was launched this year after the recent actions of the “US government about the financing of foreign help.”

It is an emergency announcement for fundraising to support the life -saving work of global initiatives that are on site, which tackles the current HIV crisis.

In February, Sir Keir Starmer became the first G20 leader to publicly did an HIV test in attempts to eradicate stigma against those with the virus.

In last year’s elections, Labor strived for the termination of new HIV cases by 2030, with an action plan that will be launched around July of this year.

With the American researchers who are now scrambling to find financing, this target can be missed without an influx of financing.

Brandi added: ‘Elton’s activism and work with the Elton John Aids Foundation was what led me to Elton before I even heard a note of his music.

“It is an incredible honor to launch this partnership and raise money for the life -saving work of the Elton John Aids Foundation and the Rocket Response Fund at a time when support is most needed.”

Donations can be made to the campaign here Via the overlooking foundation.

Looking out Foundation will match every donation made, up to $ 100,000, on Instagram: ‘After the release of who believes in Anglels? We are proud to continue our special partnership to make music mean more.

‘@Lookingoutfoundation is the collection of vital funds to support @ejaf’s mission to stimulate progress in the global HIV reaction and to ensure that compassionate care reaches those who need it most – because this work has never been more urgent at the moment.

‘And there is more: every donation will be matched by praise, up to $ 100,000, which doubles your impact to protect HIV prevention and care services in the US and all over the world.

“Let’s keep going the music – and the momentum.”
