Premier League Giants Arsenal have announced the signing of Denmark International Christian Norgaard.
The Gunners confirmed the signing of Norgaard in a statement on Thursday.
“The 31-year-old midfielder arrives from Brentford, where he made 196 performances in all competitions, including 122 in the Premier League, scored 13 goals and assisted 18 times,” the club said.
“Christian started his career at Lyngby in his home country, went through their youth academy and made his first team debut at the age of 17. He then had a brief enchantment in Germany with Hamburg as an 18-year-old before he returned to Denmark in August 2013 to become a member of Superliga Club Brondby.
“During his time there Christian became an influential player, with his natural leadership. He was named player of the year in 2017 and also helped the team to lift the Danish Cup in 2017/18. For five years with Brondby, he made 147 performances in all competitions, scored 12 goals with nine assists.
“Christian moved to Italy in July 2018 and signed for the Serie -Zijde Fiorentina, where he spent a season before he came to Brentford in May 2019.

“During his six seasons with the bees, Christian consistently showed his strength and qualities from midfield and played an integral role through one of the most successful periods in the history of Brentford, including promotion to the Premier League after a 74-year-old absence of the top flight.
