Wimbledon briefing: Monday summary, day nine order of play and ‘nightmare’ norrie

Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner stay on course for a wonderful semi-final collision at Wimbledon-but only after serious fears.

The quarterfinals start on Tuesday, with world song One Aryna Sabalenka opening Play on Center Court before the last remaining singles of Great Britain Hope Cameron Norrie tackles the defense of men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Djokovic wakes up to the minaur

All Chief Executive Sally Bolton from England said: “We have done a complete assessment of all our systems and processes to check all those things and to ensure that we have made the right changes that we had to make, both historically and ahead. So we have absolute faith in the system.”
