Training camp is 20 days away for the Minnesota Vikings, and the preseason is two weeks later.

Every year, a unshrieved Vikings player grabs the hearts of fans in training camp. Here are 5 daring predictions of fans for Mr. Mankato 2025.

People will pay a lot of attention to the camp this year, because the Vikings are very exciting because of the second -year Quarterback JJ McCarthy.

But artists under the radar will also give up the page, and someone will win the semi-mythological “Mr. Mankato” when it is all said and done. Mr Mankato Is the uncomfortable Vikings artist who wins a training camp in the court of public opinion.

These are winners from the past:

2014: Adam Thielen
2015: Stefon Diggs
2016: Jayron Kearse

Fans predict the future in the Vikings Training Camp.

1. Silas Bolden (WR)

Predictor: Bruce Johnson | @sachikojohnson

It is interesting to note that earlier winners did not always have an excellent career with the Vikings. There is no doubt that last year the “new” contributions for the 14-win season came from free agents, and that can happen again.

Silas Bolden returns a point for a touchdown against the state of Arizona.

Nevertheless, I am enthusiastic about our first round Rookie, Jackson. On the other hand, I understand that the first round picks are not eligible for Mr Mankato. So I will have to present Silas Bolden. It is pure speculation on my part. It is really a good question this week.

2. Jeshaun Jones (WR)

Predictor: Jens for Norway | @Rednpurple77

Jeshaun Jones scores a touchdown for the Vikings versus the browns.

Just a feeling that he will get on fire in the training camp.

3. Gabriel Murphy (OLB)

Predictor: TADD | @St7cubs

Murphy stood out and had Mr. Mankato can be in last year’s camp. Before the season, things were briefly placed on IR, and he didn’t get much playing time when he returned in November. I fully expect it to be healthy and that buzzing up again.

Murphy’s Scouting Report From nfl.com Comes from the university in 2024: “What Murphy Vogist fogs in size and length that he makes good with skill and production. He is briefly armed, which will worry teams at the pro-level, but his hands are so sudden and polished that it has the tendency to illuminate the concern. He works his hands and feet in perfect harmony.”

“Murphy could struggle to survive against Runblockers who fall apart, but he usually finds a way to maintain attempts at the collegial level. He was unable to dominate one-on-one opportunities in East-west Shrine Bowl practices, but his ability to manoeuveren a runy defendant in the Achterveld has been defamered in the Achterveld. To make edge rust.

T5. Zemaiah Vaughn (CB)

Predictor: Steve Berglund | @Vikin18

I’m going with Zemaiah Vaughn. I think Brian Flores will love his height, and he will flash and spend time working with 1’s.

T5. Zemaiah Vaughn (CB)

Predictor: Eric Horstman | @Ehorstman23

My prediction for Mr. Mankato 2025 is Zemaiah Vaughn. It seemed like he flashed a lot during Otas, and I think his size and fit at Flores will also enable him to shine during the training camp.

Zemaiah Vaughn returns a interception against USC, now a candidate for Mr Mankato in Minnesota.

Our own Janik Eckardt wrote About Vaughn last month: “NFL teams usually keep between five and seven cornerbacks on their 53-man selection, depending on how much space they have, but also how many contributions from special teams they get from that crew. In 2023 the Vikings only kept four, but that was very unusual.”

“To stay on the Roster, Vaughn has to surpass some of his teammates and show special teams. The first four are probably safe and the best guys will be in the rotation. Special teams Ace Tavierre Thomas could get a place because of his experience and third-party phase Prowess, and last year, and for the Roster in 2024.”

Vaughn is a name to circle in the training camp and in the preseason. He may have the “it” gene.

Eckardt concluded about the cornerbacks of the Vikings and Vaughn: “Ambry Thomas played meaningful snaps with the 49ers and could also have a chance. Garber is a colleague Udfa. Steward went in 2024 in 2024 and also made some plays in the forefront of the Beren.

“Vaughn will get his chances in the preseason, and if he can hold it against the talented Wideouts from Minnesota, he could take a roster place.”
