George Ford was satisfied with the second half of England in a 35-12 victory over Argentina on a special evening before the Fly half.
Ford marked his 100th performance for England with a 15-point trek in La Plata while he pulled the strings for the improvised line-up of Steve Borthwick.
Without different players because of British and Irish lion obligations, Ford and fellow co-captain Jamie George stepped up to help England by a difficult first half, in which they were temporarily reduced to 13 men, before they were attacked with Aplomb after the break.
Tom Roebuck took support from the second half of attempts and Freddie Steward also crossed before Cadan Murley finished the score to achieve an extensive victory, which was all the more impressive as Alex Coles and Seb Atkinson were sent to the SIN-BIN at the same time during the opening period.
The drop goal of Ford proved the difference between the teams during the break and, in addition to three successful conversions, the sales air half of each other sent more than two penalties in succession, because Argentina threatened a reaction to help relieve England to victory.
“We just wanted to perform and win well,” Ford told Sky Sports.
“It’s all about the team as always. We understand how difficult it is here in Argentina, so it’s a great victory for us.
“We were under pressure in the first half, gave too many punishments away and could not get out of our half.
“We had to make sure that we took the second half out of our half and created some try-scoring opportunities, which we did early in the second half.
“We have to support it next week and we know that Argentina will come back to us. Another challenge we are looking forward to.”

England owed Co-Captain George thanks after Coles received a yellow card for a frontal contact with Facundo Isa.
But after Santiago Carreras missed a simple fine for the hosts, Ford repeated his role as Chief Tormentor of Argentina with a great drop goal to bring the score to 3-0 during the break.
Atkinson had also shown a yellow card on this point because England was short to 13, but three attempts in nine minutes at the start of the second half meant that those cards had little to do.
Sale Wing Roebuck crashed on the right two minutes before Ford’s Slick Pass sent the old Leicester teammate Steward across the line.
When Roebuck grabbed his second shortly after Argentina looked a long night.
However, attempts for Pablo Matera and Pedro Rubiolo helped to raise the prospect of an unlikely comeback, only for Ford to nail two long -distance sentences before Murphy was stopped down to seal a clinical road.
